Regional Volunteer Management Plan
The plan will identify tasks that can be performed safely by spontaneous volunteers and mechanisms to integrate and supervise volunteers. It will also address ways to safely integrate private individuals with equipment such as farm road construction equipment who are volunteering to assist with work in the impacted areas.
GPREP is currently working toward the development of a Regional Volunteer Management Plan to strengthen how volunteers are coordinated during emergency events. Many of the emergency management functions require specific training, safety equipment or specific authorizations and oversight
